Caxton College has
40,000 m2 of excellent installations to
offer their pupils.
Information Communication Technology
One for Infants and Primary and the other for Secondary.
Both have modern computers with flat screens and interactive
whiteboards. Classrooms are "interconnected" by a wireless
network and equipped with the most advanced multimedia technology.
In Primary and secondary Education computers as well as the interactive whiteboards are
used as a tool to help pupils in their learning process. Because of these technologies,
teachers have new possiblities to find more entertaining and accesible teaching methods,
eventhough they are working with a wide range of programs and web sites.
In Secondary Education, pupils are taught to use common applications like: word
processing, spreadsheets, data bases, project manager and presentations.
Pupils have computers in their own classrooms and many of them are equipped with an interactive
whiteboard. All of these resources improve the quality of teaching and help to achieve greater
student motivation and participation in class.
Music Rooms
The school has two fully equipped music
rooms, with piano, keyboards, percussion
instruments etc.
Audiovisual
Room
 The
audio visual room is used for pupils’
exhibitions conferences, talks and the
room is equipped with modern speakers,
video and DVD machines.
Laboratories
 The
school has 4 fully equipped laboratories:
2 Chemistry labs, 1 Physics lab and 1
Biology lab.
Library
The importance of an active acquisition
of knowledge is supported at Caxton College
by a computerised library and a well-equipped
resource centre. The library has approximately
28,600 documents in 550 m2.
As an essential part of the study programme,
the pupils are trained in the use of all
types of information. They therefore acquire
the skills they will be using in the future
in university libraries.
Theatre
 We
have a theatre with a capacity for 400.
This is used for concerts, theatre productions,
assemblies, parents meetings etc. It is
also hired out to external associations
and groups for events such as fallas presentations
