New Pupils
Although the school follows the British national Curriculum, Spanish
Language is also very important and we teach Spanish as a foreign language
to those pupils who need it. The students are streamed by their level and
the groups sizes are small. The aim is to teach the pupils enough Spanish
so that finally they can join the mainstream Spanish lessons.
SPECIAL PROGRAMMES FOR NEW STUDENTS
Individual programmes
The Late Entrance Department will prepare a personalised plan of study for
those students who do not have the required level of English
for them to enter into their corresponding year group.
This plan facilitates their adaptation to the educational
system in place at Caxton College.
Support Programme in English
The school offers special English lessons with private
tutors to those pupils who require support. The teacher
will develop the individual plan for the student.
Spanish as a Second Language
Students who do not have the same level of Spanish as
native students attend Spanish as a Second Language lessons
in small groups.

Attached Document)
In Class Support
Students without sufficient level of English can have
a tutor to attend lessons with them. This tutor will sit
next to the student in class and take notes for the student
while explaining at the same time.
