| Relations
with parents
We are aware that
parents are the most important educators
of their children and that school should
work closely with them so, at Caxton College,
we try to cultivate a relationship by
providing a constant flow of information.
In this way parents are always informed
of their child’s educational progress
and problems are easier detected.
We are open to all parents’ suggestions.
We are always pleased to see parents at
school either alone or with family and
friends.
1.
The school organises a meeting at the
beginning of the school year to inform
parents about all matters related to school
work.
2.
Each term parents are invited to
the festivals and talks that have been
programmed.
3.
Parents are given full information at
the beginning of the academic year that
details:
-The school calendar
-Teachers and assistants per class
-Educational objectives
-Timetable
-Lunch hour (turns)
4.
In Primary and Secondary reports are given
at the end of each term. Parents are invited
to individual meetings twice a year to
comment on their child’s progress.
5.
To facilitate communication between parents
and teachers all students have a diary
for notes:
- from teacher to
parent
- from parent to
teacher
