PRIMARY: Year 6 SATS

The Key Stage 2 SATS (Statutory Assessment Tests) are taken at the end of Year 6 (the equivalent of 5th Year in the Spanish system). The exams are taken for English, Maths and Science. They are set and corrected by an official British Examinations Committee.

The required level at Key Stage 2 is level 4.

The following table shows the percentages of pupils who have achieved the required level or above.

SECONDARY: Year 9 SATS

The Key Stage 3 SATS (Statutory Assessment Tests) are taken at the end of Year 9 (equivalent to the 2nd year of Secondary Education in the Spanish system).

The required level in KS3 is between level 5 AND 6.

SECONDARY: Year 11 IGCSEs

The IGCSEs (International General Certificate Secondary Examination) are taken at the end of Year 11 (equivalent to 4th year of Secondary Education in the Spanish system). The exams are set and marked by an official British Examinations Board.

The grades range from A to E. A to C are considered passes.
