in Values
Solidarity is one of the most important
values of our time. For this reason the
school organises numerous activities aimed
at encouraging solidarity amongst its pupils.
Some of these are:
- The Christmas
campaigns for UNICEF
and CÁRITAS,
in which we collected food and cash
donations for children in need.
- The solidarity
campaign in February for Manos
Unidas. We collected money
for the campaign against hunger by selling
T-shirts.
- The campaign
for Entreculturas.
On the days running up to Christmas
the sixth form students dress up as
Father Christmas and sing Christmas
Carols to collect funds for this charity.
We also encourage
our pupils to care and respect the environment.
The World Wildlife Foundation
is a clear example of this. Each year
we collect funds to help protect different
animals.
We hope that our students become sensible
consumers and that they are aware of their
rights, for this reason we educate them
in consumer aspects.
