After five o’clock in the evening, Caxton College offers pupils a variety of sports and leisure activities which take place within the school’s facilities.
These activities are scheduled from September to June and take place –according to their own calendars- from Monday to Friday. They are taught by a variety of specialised teachers for each specific age group.
The activities which take place after five o’clock (as long as a minimum number of pupils are interested) are:
- Introduction to sport
- Tennis
- Paddle Tennis
- Swimming
- Introduction to Music
- Piano
- Ballet
- UCMAS – Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System
- Supervised study
Learning to do their homework
During ‘SUPERVISED STUDY’ small groups of pupils do their homework while supervised by a tutor.
The teacher helps them with tasks as well as showing them how to correctly apply there study techniques whilst at the same time encouraging values such as perseverance and concentration in order to get the best results.
‘Supervised study’ takes place alter five o’clock in the evening, from Monday to Friday.
