The school psychologists work closely with the head teachers and teachers giving counselling to those pupils who are referred to them.
Amongst their aims are the following objectives:
- To diagnose gifted pupils
- To diagnose pupils with learning difficulties
- To help pupils develop their study skills
- Careers advise
- Organise talks for parents
- Prepare information and material for tutors
