To help boarders integrate into the academic life here at Caxton College, there is a ‘Welcome Plan’ designed to resolve any doubts a pupil may have in their first few days in school and help them to adapt to the centre, their classmates, their ‘new’ family and Spanish customs.
Boarding students do the same as any other student here, participating in sporting activities, cultural trips and
extracurricular activities… But at the same time, have
special support ready to attend to any of their
day to day needs.
The boarding department is responsible for the welfare of the student –from the moment they arrive at the school- and also organizes different events to encourage friendship between the boarders (group trips, tea parties…).
Parents, host families, teachers, tutors and students work with the boarding department to achieve the same objective: to make the boarding students’ stay as pleasant as possible, in every area.
